SAZCOM is a Sydney based communications consultancy that was founded in 2008.
SAZCOM specialises in the not-for-profit sector. We are focused on health, education, children’s rights, human rights and social justice.
SAZCOM works with a number of organisations providing media and communications counsel and driving major projects and campaigns.
We are public relations, media relations and government relations specialists. We will work to devise and execute a communications strategy that supports your policy and advocacy work. We know about the challenges and delights of working in the not-for-profit world. We are all about impact and outcomes.
In today’s competitive media landscape important stories about health, disability, education, social justice, and children’s and human rights sometimes struggle to be told. Predominantly the domain of the not-for-profit sector, there are stories and cases that need to be presented in order to build public awareness, advocate for change, and sometimes to grab the attention of the powers that be.
No project is too small. We often collaborate with others to deliver comprehensive and multi-level communications campaigns, so no job is too big, either.
We’re dedicated to championing the stories and work of a range of wonderful organisations, giving a voice to those who often are not heard, and shaking things up a bit when needed.
We like to be creative.
Sara Irvine is the managing director and holds Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Journalism degree. Sara has worked on projects nationally and overseas and is particularly focused on equitable access to healthcare and education.
